Michalis Anastasakis
Hammer throw
Michalis Anastasakis, born in Chania on December 3, 1994, is a top Greek hammer thrower. He has achieved significant distinctions, such as fourth place at the 2016 European Championships in Amsterdam and third place at the 2023 European Team Championships.
His personal best is 77.72 meters, achieved in 2017 in Nikiti.
Alongside his athletic career, he completed his studies in Physiotherapy at Athens University of Applied Sciences.
Michalis has represented Greece in two Olympic Games, in Rio in 2016 and Tokyo in 2021, and continues to set high goals and strive for new successes, representing Greece with passion and dedication.
