Michalis Anastasakis

Hammer throw

My name is Michalis Anastasakis and I was born in Chania, on 3 December 1994. At the age of 14, and while watching the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, I happened to watch hammer throw, which I instantly loved. Following many years of hard work and positive results, I came to enjoy my first big moment at the Mediterranean U23 Championships, thus qualifying for the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics. My biggest dream is to perform well in the Olympic Games. I have never thought about quitting, because this is what I do every day, and I love it. I am happy to be partnering up with such a big company that will help me in making this big journey towards our big dream.
