Preventive health examinations program

Prevention saves lives and is a responsibility we all share. In Greece, the concept of prevention is often associated with annual diagnostic tests, commonly known as the check-up. While diagnostic screening is indeed valuable—especially when scheduled and tailored to everyone's health profile—it is not sufficient on its own. It must be complemented by adopting healthy behavioral patterns and lifestyle choices.

Recognizing the need to strengthen public health, our company, in collaboration with the organization “The Smile of the Child”, implements the Preventive Medicine program “Allwyn in the Neighborhood.” Through this initiative, free health examinations are offered with the support of local Medical and Dental Associations and in cooperation with community organizations.

As part of this effort, four mobile health units—the mobile polyclinic “HIPPOCRATES”, the Mobile Unit for Preventive Medicine & Dentistry, the Mobile Diagnostic Unit for Preventive Ophthalmology & Audiology, and the new polyclinic of “The Smile of the Child”—visit various regions across Greece, providing a wide range of preventive health screenings.
